Low Pressure Propane Screw On Gas Regulator is a single-stage regulator engineered for safe and reliable control of propane supply in low-pressure applications. Designed with a robust screw-on POL connection and an 8 mm (5/16”) hose nozzle outlet, it ensures a secure fit for use with propane cylinders and hose assemblies. Delivering a fixed operating pressure of 37 mbar with a maximum flow rate of 1.5 kg/h, the regulator provides consistent output for appliances that require a steady low-pressure propane supply. Compact and easy to install, it is suited for portable heating, barbecues, camping equipment, catering appliances, and other domestic or light commercial uses where low-pressure propane performance is essential.

Key Features:

  • Capacity: 1.5 kg/h flow rate for low-pressure propane appliances.

  • Operating Pressure: Fixed at 37 mbar for consistent performance.

  • Inlet Connection: POL screw-on type with maximum inlet pressure of 16 bar.

  • Outlet Connection: 8 mm (5/16”) bore hose nozzle for secure hose fitting.

  • Stage: Single-stage low pressure design.

  • Pressure Release Valve: Not fitted.

  • Pressure Test Point: Not included.

  • Safety Devices: No OPSO or UPSO functions.

  • Application: Suitable for propane low-pressure equipment.

  • Size: POL x 8 mm (5/16”) configuration.

Compatible Gas Cylinders:

This regulator is designed to fit Calor Gas and Flogas red propane cylinders with POL connections. Suitable sizes include:

  • 47 kg propane cylinder

  • 19 kg propane cylinder

  • 13 kg propane cylinder

  • 11 kg propane cylinder

  • 6 kg propane cylinder

  • 3.9 kg propane cylinder

The regulator is built to deliver a steady and dependable 37 mbar outlet pressure, ideal for equipment that requires stable low-pressure fuel input. Its screw-on POL connection provides quick and reliable attachment to propane cylinders, while the nozzle outlet allows secure hose connection for safe operation. The single-stage design keeps the unit compact and easy to handle, offering practical convenience for mobile and outdoor use. Though not fitted with additional safety features such as OPSO, UPSO, or pressure test points, the regulator is engineered for safe low-pressure propane use when installed and maintained correctly.

Applications include outdoor catering burners, portable heaters, camping stoves, barbecues, patio heaters, and light commercial appliances. Low Pressure Propane Screw On Gas Regulator offers a simple, durable, and effective solution for controlling propane supply in domestic and portable low-pressure systems.

Low Pressure Propane Screw On Gas Regulator 37mbar

✅ 1.5kg/h Capacity ✅ -20°C to +50°C ✅ EN1612

What is it, and which cylinder does it fit?

A single-stage LPG regulator. This is the screw-on POL type delivering 37mbar, for propane cylinders. Check the valve on your cylinder before ordering - clip-on and screw-on fittings are not interchangeable.

What is the difference between butane and propane regulators?

They deliver different pressures - butane 28mbar, propane 37mbar - and appliances are jetted for one or the other, so the wrong regulator makes an appliance run badly and unsafely. Propane also vaporises at much lower temperatures, which is why it is the choice for outdoor and winter use.

What standard is it built to?

EN 16129, the European standard for LPG pressure regulators. That covers the relief mechanism, the materials and the pressure accuracy. Uncertified gas equipment is not worth the saving.

What flow rate does it deliver?

1.5kg/h maximum. Check that against the total demand of your appliances - a regulator that cannot supply enough gas causes appliances to run weak or cut out under load, particularly with several burners going at once.

What temperature range does it cover?

-20C to +50C. This is another reason propane is preferred for outdoor and winter work - butane stops vaporising properly as the temperature approaches freezing, so a butane setup can simply stop delivering gas on a cold morning.

What hose do I need with it?

It has an 8mm (5/16 inch) hose nozzle outlet, which takes LPG-rated hose to ISO 3821 secured with proper gas hose clips. Never substitute general-purpose rubber hose, and replace the hose at the date marked on it.
