Heater demist vent ducting for Series 1, 2, 2a, 2b, 3 and Defender 83-06; fuel filler breather hose for Series and Defender (MLH100410); the Discovery 1 petrol tank breather upgrade pipe (ESR1056); Freelander 1 TD4 intercooler turbo hose (PNH500190); and Series clear screen washer tubing.

The original ducting perishes, hardens and collapses, so airflow to the windscreen drops away long before the heater itself gives up. It is one of the most common Series and Defender complaints and one of the easiest to fix, and our replacements are listed against the OE numbers such as 347745 and 304345.

Match on model, series and year, and use the OE part number where you have it - many of our listings quote them. Land Rover ran overlapping specifications for years, so the number is far more reliable than the model name alone. If you cannot find one, send photos with a tape measure alongside.

Yes - the fuel and breather hoses are built to SAE J30 R6 and handle modern ethanol-blended petrol. This matters particularly on older Land Rovers, where the original hose predates ethanol blending and is being attacked from the inside while looking sound externally.

Silicone will not perish or harden with age and handles far higher temperatures, which suits a vehicle that may sit for long periods or work hard. Rubber is the cheaper like-for-like replacement. On anything awkward to access - and on a Land Rover that is most things - silicone is worth the extra.

We manufacture bespoke silicone hose to order, and Land Rovers are a regular part of that. Send us the old part, or a sketch with bore, length and angles, plus what flows through it and the temperature. Even a perished hose usually works as a pattern if it holds its shape. Small quantities are fine.
