Aluminium Hose Connectors

We have an extensive range of Aluminium Hose Connectors, where durability and precision engineering merge to provide unparalleled fluid transfer solutions. Crafted from high-quality aluminium, these connectors are designed to seamlessly bridge hoses, ensuring optimal flow and secure connections across a wide spectrum of applications.

These have exceptional craftsmanship, offering longevity and robustness. The aluminium construction guarantees resistance to corrosion, ensuring these connectors remain reliable even in challenging environments and fluid conditions.

With a diverse array of outside diameters, these joiners caters to various hose types and diameters. Whether you're managing air, water, oil, or other fluids, these connectors reduce turbulence and pressure drops, enabling a smooth and uninterrupted transfer process

These connectors are designed for straightforward integration, ensuring swift installation and leak-free operation. Their precision fit and durable design contribute to minimizing maintenance and downtime, thereby enhancing your systems' overall efficiency.

Connectors are subjected to rigorous testing, embodying a commitment to quality and reliability. Whether you're a professional in search of dependable components or an enthusiast looking to optimize your fluid transfer setup, our collection seamlessly blends performance with precision.

What are aluminium hose connectors for?

They join two lengths of silicone or rubber hose together, or provide a hard pipe section between flexible hoses. In boost and intake pipework a solid aluminium section keeps the bore from ballooning under pressure and stops the run flexing about, which improves throttle response and keeps clips seated. They are also used to bridge the gap where a moulded hose is not long enough to reach.

What is T6063 aluminium and why does it matter?

T6063 is a heat-treated aluminium alloy chosen for a good balance of strength, corrosion resistance and formability. It handles the temperature and vibration of an engine bay without work-hardening or cracking the way cheaper alloys can, and it will not rust like mild steel. Our connectors run from -40C to +220C with a 1.6mm wall thickness.

What sizes and lengths do you offer?

Outside diameters from 8mm up to 102mm, in lengths from 50mm right up to 950mm - 22 diameters and 20 lengths. Order by outside diameter, because that is what your hose slides over: match it to the internal diameter of the silicone or rubber hose you are using. If you need a length we do not list, get in touch.

Beaded or unbeaded - what is the difference?

These are unbeaded, meaning the ends are smooth precision-machined tube. Unbeaded connectors are easier to slide a hose onto and let you set the hose position exactly where you want it, which is handy on tight routing. A beaded connector has a raised lip that the clip pulls the hose down behind, which resists blow-off better under boost. We stock beaded aluminium joiners separately if that is what your application needs.

Will an unbeaded joiner blow off under boost?

Not if it is clipped properly. Use a T-bolt clamp rather than a worm drive clip on anything pressurised, position the clamp squarely over the joiner rather than near the hose end, and make sure at least 25-30mm of joiner is inside the hose. If you are running high boost or the joint has already let go once, switch to a beaded joiner - the bead gives the clip something mechanical to work against.

Can I weld or cut these to length?

They can be cut down with a pipe cutter or a fine-tooth saw - deburr the inside and outside afterwards so the edge does not damage the hose bore. T6063 is weldable by TIG if you need to fabricate, though you will lose some of the heat treatment in the weld zone. If you would rather not fabricate, check the length list first - we cover 50mm to 950mm and can often supply a size that avoids cutting altogether.
