T-Bolt Hose Clamp is a heavy-duty fastening solution designed for secure and reliable clamping of hoses in automotive, agricultural, marine, and industrial systems. Manufactured from zinc-plated and stainless steel, the clamp provides excellent corrosion resistance, durability, and high clamping force. Featuring a robust solid steel band and precision-engineered T-bolt with a hex nut fastener, the clamp ensures a tight and even distribution of pressure around the hose, reducing the risk of leaks, blow-offs, and slippage. With an operating temperature range from -60°C to +180°C (peak +190°C), T-Bolt Hose Clamps are suitable for high-performance environments where strength and stability are critical.

Key Features:

  • Material: Zinc-plated or stainless steel for high strength and corrosion resistance.

  • Design: T-bolt fastening with hex nut for secure, even clamping force.

  • Band Width: 18 mm to 24 mm depending on size.

  • Screw Size: M5 to M8 bolts for a wide clamping range.

  • Torque Capacity: 6 Nm to 24 Nm depending on size.

  • Operating Temperature: -60°C to +180°C (peak +190°C).

  • Clip Range: Available in sizes from 17 mm to 130 mm diameter.

The reinforced steel band ensures durability and strength, while the T-bolt design provides superior clamping force compared to standard worm-drive hose clips. The hex nut tightening mechanism allows for precise torque application, ensuring a secure and consistent seal in both low and high-pressure systems. Resistant to corrosion and temperature extremes, these clamps are designed to maintain integrity in harsh environments and under demanding applications.

Applications include securing silicone hoses, turbocharger and intercooler pipework, radiator and coolant hoses, agricultural machinery, heavy-duty vehicles, and marine systems. T-Bolt Hose Clamp offers a reliable and professional-grade fastening solution where standard hose clips may not provide sufficient strength or stability.

How to size a clip

hose OD clip band pipe clip size = hose OD = bore + (2 × wall)
1
Measure over the hose, not the pipe
A clip closes around the outside of the hose once the hose is already on its fitting. That outside diameter is the clip size — the bore the hose runs on is not.
2
Or work it out from the hose's own figures
If the hose is not to hand, take its internal diameter and add twice the wall thickness — both are listed in that hose's own Size Guide. A 19 mm bore silicone hose has a 4.5 mm wall, so it measures 28 mm across the outside.
3
Use vernier calipers, keep the largest reading
Set the outer jaws across the widest point of the assembled joint and rotate 60° between readings. Hose is soft and rarely perfectly round, so size to the biggest figure.
4
Pick the range that spans your figure
Aim for the middle of a clip's range rather than either end. Wound out near its limit a clip has little thread left to bite on; at the bottom of its range it may not open far enough to pass over the hose in the first place.
Size the clip to the hose OD, not the bore. A 19 mm hose does not take a 19 mm clip — with a 4.5 mm wall it measures about 28 mm across the outside. Every figure on this page is the outside diameter the clip closes on.

T Bolt Hose Clamp

✅ M5/6/8 Head ✅ 18-24mm Band Width ✅ Smooth Inner

What is it and when do I use it?

A heavy-duty clamp where a solid bolt and trunnion pull a wide, smooth-inner band evenly around the whole joint. That is fundamentally different from a worm drive, which tightens through slots in a perforated band at one point. Use it on boost, intercooler and turbo pipework, and anywhere with real vibration.

What sizes do you stock?

Adjustment ranges run from 17mm to 19mm up to 122mm to 130mm across 23 sizes. Available in 1 clip, 10 clips, 50 clips and 100 clips.

How do I choose the right size?

Size to the outside diameter of the hose once fitted over the pipe, not to the hose bore. Clips are listed by adjustment range and your fitted diameter should sit around the middle of it - a clip at the very end of its travel either will not close far enough or has almost no thread engaged.

What is the difference between W1 and W4?

Available in W1 Zinc Plated and W4 Stainless Steel. W1 is zinc-plated steel - cheaper, fine for dry indoor use. W4 is stainless throughout, band, housing and screw, which is what you want for weather, coolant, road salt or a marine environment.

Why does the smooth inner band matter?

Because silicone is soft. A perforated worm drive band presses its slot edges into the hose wall under high clamping force, which marks and eventually damages it. A T-bolt's smooth band spreads the load evenly, so you can apply the force a boost joint needs without cutting the hose.

How tight should it be?

Firm, not crushed. Compress the hose evenly against the pipe without the band biting in - over-tightening causes more leaks than under-tightening. Re-check after the first few heat cycles, because the joint beds in and a clip that felt tight cold usually needs a small nip.
