Propane Low Pressure Regulator is a single-stage regulator designed for safe and consistent control of propane supply in low-pressure applications. Built to EN 16129 standards, the regulator features a 27 mm clip-on inlet connection with an 8 mm (5/16") hose nozzle outlet, providing quick and secure fitting to compatible propane cylinders. Delivering a fixed operating pressure of 37 mbar and a maximum capacity of 1.5 kg/hr (71,250 Btu/hr), it ensures reliable performance for appliances that require a stable low-pressure fuel supply. Compact, lightweight, and easy to install, this regulator is ideal for domestic, leisure, and light commercial use with propane cylinders that use a 27 mm clip-on connection.

Key Features:

  • Standard: Manufactured to EN 16129.

  • Capacity: 1.5 kg/hr (71,250 Btu/hr).

  • Operating Pressure: Fixed at 37 mbar.

  • Inlet Connection: 27 mm clip-on fitting for propane cylinders.

  • Inlet Pressure: Maximum 16 bar.

  • Outlet Connection: 8 mm (5/16") bore hose nozzle.

  • Suitable For: Low-pressure propane applications.

The regulator provides a steady 37 mbar outlet pressure, making it well-suited for appliances such as barbecues, patio heaters, camping stoves, and other propane-fuelled equipment. Its 27 mm clip-on inlet connection allows simple attachment to compatible Calor and other propane cylinders, while the 8 mm nozzle ensures secure connection to hose assemblies. The single-stage design keeps the unit compact and easy to use, with a safe, dependable output for continuous operation.

Applications include outdoor leisure appliances, patio heaters, barbecues, camping stoves, catering burners, and general low-pressure propane equipment. Propane Low Pressure Regulator with 27 mm clip-on inlet and 8 mm outlet hose nozzle offers a practical, durable, and EN 16129-compliant solution for controlling propane supply safely and effectively.

Low Pressure 27mm Propane Clip On Gas Regulator 37mbar

✅ 1.5kg/h Capacity ✅ -10°C to +65° ✅ EN 16129

What is it, and which cylinder does it fit?

A single-stage LPG regulator. This is the 27mm clip-on type delivering 37mbar, for propane cylinders. Check the valve on your cylinder before ordering - clip-on and screw-on fittings are not interchangeable.

What is the difference between butane and propane regulators?

They deliver different pressures - butane 28mbar, propane 37mbar - and appliances are jetted for one or the other, so the wrong regulator makes an appliance run badly and unsafely. Propane also vaporises at much lower temperatures, which is why it is the choice for outdoor and winter use.

What standard is it built to?

EN 16129, the European standard for LPG pressure regulators. That covers the relief mechanism, the materials and the pressure accuracy. Uncertified gas equipment is not worth the saving.

What flow rate does it deliver?

1.5kg/h maximum. Check that against the total demand of your appliances - a regulator that cannot supply enough gas causes appliances to run weak or cut out under load, particularly with several burners going at once.

What temperature range does it cover?

the range listed on this page. This is another reason propane is preferred for outdoor and winter work - butane stops vaporising properly as the temperature approaches freezing, so a butane setup can simply stop delivering gas on a cold morning.

What hose do I need with it?

It has an 8mm (5/16 inch) hose nozzle outlet, which takes LPG-rated hose to ISO 3821 secured with proper gas hose clips. Never substitute general-purpose rubber hose, and replace the hose at the date marked on it.
