What is in the upholstery and matting range?

Four-way stretch van lining carpet in anthracite, beige, black, silver and smoke; rubber matting in 3mm and 5mm thicknesses with checker plate, circular stud and smooth finishes; and quilted faux leather double stitch diamond fabric in eight colours - white, red, black, orange, blue, green, silver and purple. Sample packs are available for both the carpet and the matting.

What is four-way stretch lining carpet for?

Lining van and campervan interiors - walls, ceilings, panels, wheel arches, bulkheads and furniture. The four-way stretch is the point: it pulls round curves, into recesses and over compound shapes without creasing or needing to be cut and patched, which is what makes a professional-looking job achievable.

What adhesive should I use?

A high-temperature contact spray adhesive - we stock Ultra Adhesive and Trimfix, both 500ml. Ordinary spray adhesives let go in a vehicle interior, which reaches surprisingly high temperatures parked in summer sun. Spray both surfaces, let them tack off, then bond. Ventilate well and mask anything you do not want overspray on.

Which rubber matting should I choose?

Checker plate and circular stud both give grip and hide marks and scuffs well, which suits van floors, workshop areas and steps. Smooth is easier to sweep and mop, which suits areas where cleaning matters more than grip. 3mm is fine for light duty; 5mm for heavy traffic, loading and anywhere things get dropped.

Can I get samples before I buy?

Yes, and for a job of any size it is worth it. There is a four-way stretch campervan lining carpet sample pack covering the colour range and a rubber matting flooring sample pack covering the finishes and thicknesses. Colour and texture are genuinely hard to judge from a screen, and these are bought by the roll.

What is the quilted faux leather used for?

Interior trim panels, seat and bunk facings, headboards, door cards and campervan furniture. The double stitch diamond pattern is quilted into the material, so you get the padded look without having to quilt it yourself. Eight colours are available, which makes matching or contrasting against a lining carpet straightforward.
