Super Long Leg Elbows

Our revolutionary 300mm Super Long Leg Fluorolined Silicone Elbows are the ultimate solution for precision-engineered fluid conveyance in industrial applications. Designed to exceed expectations, these elbows combine unmatched durability, exceptional flexibility, and advanced chemical resistance, making them an indispensable component in your systems.

The incorporation of a high-quality fluoropolymer lining takes these silicone elbows to the next level. Benefit from superior resistance to a wide range of chemicals, corrosive agents, and aggressive fluids. This feature ensures long-lasting integrity, reducing maintenance costs and downtime.

Crafted from top-grade silicone, these elbows exhibit remarkable heat resistance and stability, even in extreme temperature environments. This ensures consistent functionality in conditions that would challenge lesser materials, maintaining peak performance under pressure.

What is a super long leg elbow?

A moulded silicone elbow with 300mm legs on each side, giving 600mm total - double the 150mm legs of a standard elbow. Available in 45 and 90 degrees from 13mm to 76mm internal diameter, fluorolined for fuel and oil, in black.

When do I need the extra length?

When the elbow has to span a gap between two components rather than simply turn a corner at a pipe stub. It also lets you trim to an exact length without ending up with too little hose for the clip to seat on, which is the usual problem with a standard elbow in a long run.

Why are they fluorolined?

Because they are built for fuel and oil work. The fluorosilicone inner liner gives hydrocarbon resistance - standard silicone swells and degrades in contact with petrol, diesel and oil. Built to SAE J30 R6, compatible with E5 and E10 pump fuel.

Can I use them for coolant?

Yes, they will handle coolant perfectly well - the fluorosilicone liner does not stop them doing the standard job. It is simply more expensive than plain silicone, so unless you need the 300mm legs specifically there is no reason to pay for fuel resistance you do not need.

What sizes are available?

13mm to 76mm internal diameter across 13 sizes, in 45 and 90 degrees. Order by internal diameter, matched to the outside diameter of the pipe stub the elbow slides onto - measure the pipe with callipers rather than the old hose.

Can I trim the legs?

Yes, that is much of the point of the extra length. Cut square with a sharp blade or hose cutter, leaving at least 25-30mm of straight leg beyond the bend for the clip to seat on. Never trim so far that a clip ends up on the curve of the bend.
