What does Silicone Hose UK sell?

How do I find the right product?
Work from the application rather than the product name. Decide what is flowing through the hose, at what temperature and pressure, and whether it needs to resist vacuum. That narrows the material immediately. Then pick the bore by measuring the pipe stub it slides onto. If you would rather just ask, send us the details and we will point you straight at it.

How do I know what size to order?
Order hose by internal diameter, matched to the outside diameter of the pipe or spigot it fits over. Measure the pipe itself with vernier callipers - not the old hose, which stretches in service and reads large. Metal pipe and joiners are ordered by outside diameter, because that is what the hose slides over.

Can I buy cut lengths or do I need a full coil?
Most hose is cut to order from 1 metre upwards, and full coils are available where the product supports it. Coils work out considerably better value per metre, so if you have a long run or several connections it is usually worth buying one. Off-cut mixed boxes are a cheap way to keep short pieces on the shelf.

Do you make bespoke hose?
Yes - bespoke silicone hose to order in non-standard bores, angles, leg lengths, wall thicknesses, ply counts and colours. Send us the part you are replacing, a sketch with dimensions, or an OE number, plus the medium and temperature. Small quantities are welcome; it does not have to be a production run.

Do you supply trade and bulk?
Yes. Clips and clamps come in 10 and 100 packs and assorted boxes, hose is available in full coils, and off-cut boxes cover short pieces. If you buy regularly for a workshop, garage, farm or fleet, get in touch about a trade account rather than ordering piecemeal.
