Peugeot-Specific

Peugeot-specific components for precise fit and performance in Peugeot models.

What Peugeot parts do you make?

The Peugeot Boxer fuel tank filler hose pipe joiner connector for 1994 to 2006 models - a direct-fit replacement for the original, built to SAE J30 R6 fuel specification.

Why does this part fail?

Age and ethanol. The filler joiner sits in a wheel arch collecting road spray, and on a van of this age it has been perishing for years. Ethanol in modern pump fuel attacks the original rubber from the inside, so it degrades internally while still looking serviceable outside.

What are the symptoms of failure?

A fuel smell around the rear of the vehicle, fuel staining or damp on the underside near the tank, and difficulty filling without the pump cutting out repeatedly. On a working van the smell is usually what gets noticed first.

Is it E5 and E10 compatible?

Yes - built to SAE J30 R6 and formulated for modern ethanol-blended petrol as well as diesel. On a vehicle of this age that is the main argument for replacement: the original compound was never intended for the fuel now being put through it.

Will it fit a Fiat Ducato or Citroen Relay?

These vans share a platform, so parts frequently cross over - we list an equivalent for the Fiat Ducato 1994 to 2006. Check both listings against your vehicle, and if you are unsure which applies, send us the registration or photos of the old part and we will confirm.

How do I check I am ordering the right thing?

Compare against the part you are removing before ordering where you can - a photo with a tape measure alongside is enough for us to confirm. Year alone is not always sufficient on these vans, since specifications changed within model runs.
