Aluminium Beaded Alloy Hose Joiner is a precision-engineered straight connector designed to securely join two lengths of hose in automotive, marine, agricultural, and industrial systems. Manufactured from high-grade T6063 aluminium alloy, the joiner combines strength, corrosion resistance, and lightweight performance. Each end is formed with a bead to provide additional grip for hoses and clamps, ensuring a leak-free and vibration-resistant connection. With a smooth bore for efficient flow and a polished external finish, the beaded joiner delivers both functional performance and a professional appearance. Available in lengths from 50 mm up to 950 mm, it can be selected for compact links or extended couplings to suit varied system layouts.

Key Features:

  • Material: T6063 aluminium alloy for lightweight strength and corrosion resistance.

  • Construction: Precision-machined tube with beaded ends and smooth bore.

  • Operating Temperature: -40°C to +220°C (peak +240°C).

  • Compatibility: Suitable for silicone and rubber hoses secured with clamps.

  • Performance: Beaded ends provide extra hose retention under boost and vibration.

  • Applications: Turbocharger and intercooler pipework, coolant systems, induction, and industrial fluid transfer.

  • Finish: Polished aluminium surface for enhanced durability and appearance.

The beaded design ensures greater hose security compared to plain connectors, preventing slippage under boost pressure or thermal cycling. The T6063 aluminium alloy construction provides an excellent balance of lightweight performance and durability, while the smooth internal bore promotes unrestricted fluid or air transfer. With lengths ranging from 50 mm to 950 mm, the joiner can be selected for short links or extended couplings, offering flexibility across a wide variety of system designs. Easy to install with clamps, it provides a long-lasting and professional-grade solution for hose joining.

Applications include turbocharger and intercooler systems, coolant and air connections in automotive engines, marine cooling circuits, agricultural machinery, and industrial fluid handling. Aluminium Beaded Alloy Hose Joiners are widely used in motorsport, custom fabrication, and engineering projects where a strong, lightweight, and secure connection is required.

How to measure OD

hose fits over OD bore OD = the surface the hose clamps onto
1
Measure across the outside
Rigid pipe, tube and joiners are sized by the outer wall, because that is the surface a hose seals against. The bore and wall thickness follow from it — they are not the ordering size.
2
Use vernier calipers
Set the outer jaws across the widest point. A tape measure round a curve reads low by a millimetre or two — enough to buy the wrong size.
3
Take three readings, keep the largest
Rotate 60° between each. If they disagree the tube is oval; size to the biggest figure so the hose still clamps down evenly.
4
Match the hose to this OD
The hose sleeves over the tube, so the hose you want is the one whose internal diameter equals this outside diameter. A 51 mm tube takes a 51 mm ID hose.
Order by OD, always. Tube, rigid pipe and joiners are listed by outside diameter — the surface the hose clamps onto. Pair one with a hose of the same ID. On reducers, quote both ends, largest first.

Aluminium Beaded Hose Joiner

✅ -40°C to +220°C ✅ 1.6mm Wall ✅ T6063 Aluminium

What is it used for?

Forming the hard sections of a custom pipework run - intercooler and intake plumbing, coolant runs and air feeds. A rigid section holds the bore round under pressure and gives a tidier installation than a long unsupported flexible hose.

What size do I order?

Order by outside diameter, because that is what your hose or coupler slides over - match it to the internal diameter of the silicone or rubber hose you are using. Measure with vernier callipers rather than a tape. Available in outside diameters from 8mm to 102mm, lengths from 50mm to 950mm.

What material and rating is it?

T6063 aluminium alloy with a 1.6mm wall, rated -40C to +220C. T6063 gives good strength and corrosion resistance at low weight, sheds heat well, and will not rust like mild steel.

Are the ends beaded, and does it matter?

Yes - each end is formed with a bead, so the clamp pulls the hose down behind a raised lip rather than relying on friction alone. That is what stops a joint blowing off under boost, and it is why beaded parts are the right choice for charge air pipework.

Aluminium or stainless - which should I choose?

Aluminium is lighter, cheaper and rejects heat faster, which makes it the usual choice for intercooler and intake pipework. Stainless is stronger, far better in salt environments and takes a superior polish, so it suits marine work and visible show pipework. Both are rated -40C to +220C and can be mixed in one system.

Can I cut, weld or polish it?

All three. Cut with a pipe cutter or fine-tooth blade and deburr inside and out. Both T6063 and 304 TIG weld well, though aluminium softens slightly in the heat-affected zone. Both polish up, and aluminium can be anodised or powder-coated - just mask where the hose clamps on, because a thick coating under a clamp can creep and loosen the joint.
