Silicone T-Piece Hose is a reinforced connector designed for branching air, coolant, or fluid lines in automotive, marine, and industrial systems. Manufactured with a smooth extruded silicone compound inner layer, reinforced with polyester braids, and finished with a durable silicone outer layer, this T-piece ensures excellent flexibility, strength, and resistance to heat and pressure. Featuring a central outlet branch, the T-piece allows efficient fluid or air distribution without compromising system integrity. Built to SAE J20 R3 standards, it operates across a wide temperature range from -50°C to +250°C, making it suitable for both high-performance and heavy-duty applications. Available in diameters from 25 mm up to 102 mm with a standard outlet of 25 mm, each T-piece is supplied in a 127 mm length for secure and practical installation.

Key Features:

  • Inner Layer: Smooth extruded silicone compound for sealing and durability.

  • Reinforcement: Polyester braids for pressure stability and dimensional strength.

  • Outer Layer: High-grade silicone for heat, ozone, and abrasion resistance.

  • Construction: 3–4 ply reinforced wall with smooth bore design.

  • Operating Temperature: -50°C to +250°C (peak +250°C).

  • Internal Diameter Range: 25 mm to 102 mm with 25 mm outlet branch.

  • Working Pressure: From 5.5 bar (small bore) down to 2.8 bar (large bore).

  • Bursting Pressure: Typically 3x working pressure (up to 16 bar).

  • Length: 127 mm overall length for secure installation.

  • Standard: SAE J20 R3 compliant.

The silicone T-piece hose provides both structural strength and flexibility, enabling reliable system branching where multiple connections are required. Its polyester-reinforced construction ensures stability under pressure, while the silicone layers resist thermal degradation, ozone, and cracking. The smooth bore design allows efficient fluid and air transfer with minimal turbulence, while the robust wall thickness ensures long-lasting durability under vibration and thermal cycling. With working pressures from 5.5 bar for smaller bores down to 2.8 bar for larger sizes, and burst ratings up to three times higher, the T-piece delivers a strong safety margin in both performance and industrial applications.

Applications include automotive coolant and turbo systems, intercooler and intake plumbing, marine cooling lines, industrial fluid transfer, and agricultural machinery. Silicone T-pieces are widely used in motorsport, heavy-duty maintenance, and custom engineering projects where durable, heat-resistant, and flexible branching is required. Keywords: silicone T-piece hose, reinforced silicone connector, high-temperature silicone T-connector, SAE J20 R3 compliant silicone hose, industrial silicone T-branch, multipurpose silicone hose connector.

How to measure ID

ID OD wall reinforcement plies ID = bore · OD = ID + (2 × wall)
1
Measure the pipe, not the old hose
Heat and age make a used hose swell and go out of round. Take your reading across the metal outlet the hose slides onto — that measurement is your ID.
2
Use vernier calipers
Set the outer jaws across the widest point of the pipe. A tape measure round a curve reads low by a millimetre or two — enough to buy the wrong size.
3
Take three readings, keep the largest
Rotate 60° between each. If they disagree the pipe is oval; size to the biggest figure so the hose still seals.
4
Round to the nearest listed bore
Silicone stretches slightly. If you land between sizes, go down to the smaller bore for a tight seal — never up.
Order by ID, always. Every hose on this site is listed by internal diameter. OD is given for clearance only — it changes with wall thickness and ply count, so it is never the ordering size. On reducers, quote both ends, largest first.

Silicone T-Piece Connector

✅ 25mm Spout ✅ High Temp ✅ High Pressure

What is it used for?

It creates a three-way branch in a hose run - a heater feed off a coolant line, a breather or bypass takeoff, or splitting an air feed. Being silicone rather than a rigid joint, it also absorbs a little vibration and tolerates minor misalignment.

What size do I order?

Order by internal diameter, matched to the outside diameter of the pipe stubs it joins. Measure the pipe with vernier callipers, not the old hose. Available in internal diameters from 25mm to 102mm, in red, black and blue.

How much pipe should be inside it?

At least 25mm engaged at each end on smaller bores and proportionally more on larger ones, with the clip sitting squarely over the supported section rather than near the open end. That is why 50mm is the practical minimum length for a straightforward join.

What is it rated for?

Built to SAE J20 R3 with polyester braid reinforcement. Smaller bores are 3 ply and larger bores step up to 4 ply - each size is built with the reinforcement it needs, so you do not have to specify it. Working pressure runs from 5.5 bar on the smallest bore down to 2.83 bar on the largest, with burst pressure from 16 bar down to 8.5 bar across the 25mm to 102mm range.

Can it carry fuel or oil?

No - standard silicone swells and breaks down in contact with hydrocarbons. Use our fluorolined coupler, built to SAE J30 R6, for fuel, oil, breather and catch-can work.

Can it join two different sized pipes?

No - stretching it over an oversized stub gives an uneven seal and a joint that creeps loose. Use a reducer, which is moulded with a proper tapered transition. We stock straight reducers in 61 size pairings from 12mm to 8mm up to 127mm to 102mm.
