This hose is is a 57mm 90 elbow on one side 51m on the other. Please check your outlet size is 51mm outside diameter and hard pipe kit is 57mm outside diameter.

This hose is designed to join the 57mm egr delete to the alumnium hard pipe kit.

How to measure ID

Measure the pipe, not the old hose

Heat and age make a used hose swell and go out of round. Take your reading across the metal outlet the hose slides onto — that measurement is your ID.

Use vernier calipers

Set the outer jaws across the widest point of the pipe. A tape measure round a curve reads low by a millimetre or two — enough to buy the wrong size.

Take three readings, keep the largest

Rotate 60° between each. If they disagree the pipe is oval; size to the biggest figure so the hose still seals.

Round to the nearest listed bore

Silicone stretches slightly. If you land between sizes, go down to the smaller bore for a tight seal — never up.

Order by ID, always. Every hose on this site is listed by internal diameter. OD is given for clearance only — it changes with wall thickness and ply count, so it is never the ordering size. On reducers, quote both ends, largest first.

How do I make sure it fits my car?

Is blanking the EGR road legal?

Blanking off EGR removes an emissions control device, which can affect the MOT emissions check and the vehicle's road legality, and on a car still under manufacturer warranty it may cause a dispute. Many customers use these on off-road, competition or engine-swap projects. It is your call, but go in knowing that.

Why do people blank the EGR on this engine?

The EGR system recirculates exhaust gas into the intake, and over time that combines with oil mist to coke up the inlet manifold, costing airflow and driveability. Blanking it prevents that. The trade-off is the emissions and legality point above, which is a real one.

What colours are available?

black, blue and red. The colour is cosmetic - construction and rating are identical. If you are doing several hoses on the same vehicle, order them together so the shades match.
