What is in the sample packs?
Two packs: the four-way stretch campervan lining carpet sample pack covering the colour range - anthracite, beige, black, silver and smoke - and the rubber matting flooring sample pack covering the finishes and thicknesses, including checker plate, circular stud and smooth in 3mm and 5mm.

Why order samples first?
Because colour and texture are genuinely hard to judge from a screen, and both products are bought by the roll. Getting a shade wrong across a whole van interior, or discovering 3mm is too thin for your floor after it arrives, is an expensive and annoying way to find out.

What will the samples tell me?
Colour under your own lighting, which is the big one - screens vary enormously. Also the pile and stretch of the carpet, which affects how it handles round curves, and the thickness and grip of the matting, which is much easier to assess in the hand than in a photograph.

Do the samples match the roll exactly?
They are cut from production material, so they represent the product accurately. As with any dyed or moulded material there can be minor batch variation, which is why we recommend ordering all the material for a job in one go rather than topping up later.

How big are the samples?
Large enough to judge colour, texture and thickness properly, but not large enough to line a panel with - they are for decision-making, not for the job. If you need a bigger piece to test a bonding method or a cutting technique, ask and we will see what is possible.

Can I hold a sample against my existing trim?
That is exactly what they are for. If you are matching new lining to existing panels, or choosing a matting to sit against a particular floor or trim colour, seeing them side by side under your own lighting is the only reliable way to decide.
