It is a hose made to fit one particular model rather than a universal length you cut down - the correct bore, length, bends and leg positions to drop straight in where the original came out. Search your model, or search the OE part number if you have it - many of our listings quote the original number, which is the most reliable way to match.

Match on model, engine, and year or facelift where the listing specifies it - hoses often change mid-generation. The most certain method is the OE part number stamped or printed on the part you are replacing. If you cannot find one, send us photos of the old hose with a tape measure alongside and we will confirm before you buy.

We manufacture bespoke silicone hose to order, so a one-off for an unlisted vehicle is entirely possible. Send us the old part, or a sketch with bore, length and angles, plus what flows through it and the temperature it sees. Classic and rare vehicles are a regular part of what we do, and small quantities are welcome.

Original rubber hoses perish, harden and split with age and heat cycling, and turbo and intercooler hoses in particular fail under boost as they age. Silicone does not perish, handles far higher temperatures, and will typically outlast the rest of the vehicle. On a hard-to-reach hose, doing the job once with silicone is the cheaper option overall.

Some listings include clips as an option at checkout - look for the 'include clips' choice on the product page. Where clips are not included, we stock stainless worm drive clips and T-bolt clamps in every size that suits. It is worth renewing clips whenever you renew a hose: old clips lose tension and corrode where you cannot see.
