Unsere gemischte Box mit Silikonschlauchkupplungen ist das perfekte unverzichtbare Zubehör für die Werkstatt. Preisgünstig, ca. 25 Kupplungen pro Box. Gemischte Durchmesser, gemischte Farben und möglicherweise der eine oder andere Winkel. Die meisten Teile sind gerade Abschnitte, die sich perfekt zum Verbinden von harten Rohren eignen. Die Durchmesser reichen von 6 mm bis 100 mm. Die Schläuche sind in neuem Zustand und wurden nicht verwendet, können jedoch aufgrund der Lagerung Anzeichen von Staub und Schmutz aufweisen.

Silikonschläuche sind für die Verbindung von Metallrohren und -komponenten in Systemen konzipiert, die Kühlmittel auf Wasser- und Ethylenglykolbasis verwenden. Unsere Kupplungen können zum Verbinden von Rohrleitungen, Luftfiltern und vielem mehr verwendet werden.

Silikonschläuche sind im Vergleich zu Gummi extrem flexibel und behalten diese Flexibilität über die gesamte Nutzungsdauer. Unter bestimmten Bedingungen besteht bei Gummischläuchen die Gefahr des Reißens, Verhärtens oder Verrottens. Deshalb werden Silikonschläuche für viele LKWs, Busse, Hochleistungsautos und viele andere Fahrzeug- und Industrieanwendungen bevorzugt.

Unsere Kupplungen verwenden dieselbe Konstruktion wie unsere 1-Meter-Längen und können Flüssigkeiten und Luft bei sehr hohem Druck transportieren. Wenn Sie also ein Rennfahrzeug bauen und Turbolader oder Kompressoren hinzufügen, ist unser Silikonschlauch die richtige Wahl.

How to measure ID

Measure the pipe, not the old hose
Heat and age make a used hose swell and go out of round. Take your reading across the metal outlet the hose slides onto — that measurement is your ID.

Use vernier calipers
Set the outer jaws across the widest point of the pipe. A tape measure round a curve reads low by a millimetre or two — enough to buy the wrong size.

Take three readings, keep the largest
Rotate 60° between each. If they disagree the pipe is oval; size to the biggest figure so the hose still seals.

Round to the nearest listed bore
Never go up: a bore wider than the fitting will not grip, whatever the hose is made of. If you land between listed sizes take the smaller bore, and secure it with a clip.
Order by ID, always. Every hose on this site is listed by internal diameter. OD is given for clearance only — it changes with wall thickness and ply count, so it is never the ordering size. On reducers, quote both ends, largest first.

What is in the box?
An assortment of silicone hose sections in mixed diameters and lengths, all the same specification as our full-length product. Supplied in three colours, 3 and 4 ply.

Who is it for?
Workshops, garages, farms, fabricators and anyone who keeps a project going. When you need a short piece at short notice, having a box on the shelf is the difference between finishing the job and waiting for a delivery.

Is it cheaper than buying lengths?
Considerably - you are buying material that would otherwise be trim, so the price per piece is a fraction of the equivalent cut lengths. The trade-off is that you take the sizes as they come rather than choosing them.

Can I choose the sizes?
No, the contents vary - that is what makes them affordable. If you need particular sizes, buy cut lengths or couplers in exactly the dimensions you want. Many customers do both: specific sizes for the job in hand, and a box for whatever comes up next.

Is the quality the same as full-length stock?
Yes - same material, same construction, same standards. These are offcuts, not seconds. The silicone is reinforced hose to SAE J20 R3 and the fluorosilicone is the fuel and oil rated equivalent.

How long are the pieces?
They vary, which is the nature of offcuts - generally short connector and coupler lengths rather than long runs. If you need a specific length, buy a coupler in that size; we stock them in 20 lengths from 50mm to 950mm.
