PVC-Geflechtschläuche

PVC-Geflechtschlauch ist ein flexibler Schlauch aus Polyvinylchlorid (PVC) mit geflochtener Polyestergarnverstärkung. PVC ist ein synthetisches Kunststoffmaterial, das für seine Haltbarkeit, Flexibilität und Beständigkeit gegen Chemikalien und UV-Strahlung bekannt ist. Die geflochtene Polyestergarnverstärkung sorgt für zusätzliche Festigkeit und verhindert, dass der Schlauch unter Druck zusammenfällt oder knickt.

PVC-Geflechtschläuche werden häufig in einer Vielzahl von Anwendungen eingesetzt, darunter in der Industrie, Landwirtschaft und im Haushalt. What is PVC braided hose used for?
It is a general-purpose reinforced hose for water, air and light fluid transfer - workshop air lines, garden and irrigation, pumps, drinks and brewing equipment, laboratory and general industrial use. The polyester yarn braid gives it a working pressure rating that unreinforced PVC tube cannot match, while staying flexible and easy to handle.

What sizes, lengths and colours do you supply?
Internal diameters from 5mm to 51mm, cut to order from 1 metre up to a 100 metre full coil depending on size, in clear, black, blue and red. Clear is by far the most popular because you can see the flow. Order by internal diameter to match the outside diameter of the spigot or fitting it will push onto.

What pressure and temperature will it take?
4 to 10 bar depending on diameter, over an operating range of -10C to +65C, built to BS6066. The smaller bores take the higher pressure - so check the rating for the size you are ordering rather than assuming the top figure applies. It is not a high-temperature hose; keep it away from hot process fluid and exhaust heat.

Can I use it on the suction side of a pump?
No. The polyester braid gives pressure strength but no resistance to collapse, so any real negative pressure will draw it shut. For suction duty you need a hose with a steel helix in the wall - our PVC wire reinforced hose covers 10mm to 51mm and is made for exactly that. Braided hose is a delivery hose.

What is the high visibility pole hose for?
It is a heavy-duty version made for water-fed pole window cleaning systems - a smooth white non-toxic PVC bore, triple polyester yarn reinforcement, rated to 20 bar, in 5mm, 6mm and 8mm bores and six fluorescent colours. The bright colour is a safety feature: a hose lying across a pavement or driveway needs to be seen.

Is it safe for drinking water or food use?
The standard braided hose is a general-purpose industrial hose and is not certified for potable water or food contact. The pole hose uses a non-toxic white PVC bore. If you need a certified food-grade or potable hose, tell us the application and we will point you at something appropriately certified rather than guessing.
