Hose Clip Driver with 7 mm Hex Head is a practical and durable tool designed for fast and efficient installation and removal of worm drive hose clips and clamps. Featuring a strong rigid shaft, this driver provides direct torque transfer and enhanced control, making it ideal for precise tightening in automotive, industrial, and workshop environments.

The 7 mm hex head is precision-fitted for standard worm drive hose clips, ensuring a secure grip and reliable performance during use. Equipped with a comfortable rubber handle, the driver offers excellent control, torque, and slip resistance, reducing fatigue during extended use. Compact, robust, and easy to handle, this tool is essential for any mechanic, engineer, or DIY enthusiast working with hose assemblies.

Key Features:

  • Hex Head: 7 mm hex drive, suitable for standard worm drive hose clips
  • Shaft: Rigid shaft for maximum torque transfer and precise control
  • Handle: Rubber-coated handle for comfort, grip, and reduced slippage
  • Design: Compact, lightweight, and easy to use
  • Applications: Automotive, industrial, plumbing, and workshop hose clip installation and removal

The rigid shaft design ensures greater stability and accuracy, making it ideal for applications where firm control and higher torque are required. Unlike flexible drivers, it delivers consistent force directly to the fastener, allowing for secure tightening without loss of power. The ergonomic rubber handle enhances comfort and grip, enabling efficient operation even during repetitive tasks.

Applications include securing worm drive clips on automotive hoses, coolant systems, fuel lines, industrial piping, agricultural machinery, and general hose assemblies.

The Hose Clip Driver with 7 mm Hex Head, rigid shaft, and rubber handle provides a dependable and easy-to-use solution for accurate and efficient hose clip installation and adjustment in both professional and DIY settings.

Rigid Hose Clip Driver

7mm Hex Nut Rigid Shaft Rubber Grip

What is it for?

Driving worm drive hose clips by their 7mm hex head. The rigid shaft transfers torque directly, so it is the one to reach for when a clip is stiff, corroded or simply needs pulling up properly.

What size does it drive?

7mm hex, which is the head on our worm drive clips, mini clips and most standard hose clamps.

Rigid or flexible - which should I choose?

Rigid for torque and control, flexible for access. If the clip is out in the open or you are building on a bench, the rigid one is faster and more positive. If it is buried at an angle in an engine bay, the flexible shaft version is the one that will reach it.

How is it built?

A rigid shaft with a precision 7mm hex head and a rubber-coated handle for grip and slip resistance, so you can put real force through it without the handle turning in your palm.

Will it round off the clip head?

Not if it is seated fully and kept in line with the fastener. Most rounded hex heads come from a loose fit or driving at an angle, not from force.

Can I use it with a drill or driver?

Turn it by hand. A powered driver runs a clip up too fast and too tight, and the band bites into the hose before you notice.
